IMPHAL, Feb 26: As a part of ‘Mission Olympics’ initiatives of the Army, a team of Army Sports Institute (Pune), Army Boys Sports Company (Shillong), Artillery Centre (Nasik) and Ma- dras Engineering Group MEG Centre (Bangalore) would be arriving at Imphal to conduct recruitment of Manipuri sportsmen from March 4 till 6 at Koirengei, a PIB (DW) said.disciplines that will be considered in the Red Shield sporting talent scou-ting and induction rally are archery, athletics, boxing, canoeing, diving, kayaking, fencing, football, hockey, weightlifting and wrestling, it detailed while adding that recruitment will be conduc-ted two categories - for boys 9-16 years with a minimum qualification of Class V, and 17-21 years with 10 standard pass. Interested/eligible candidates are further informed to report at the recruitment venue from March 4-6 with relevant documents and two copies of passport size photographs.
